A beach shack at Tugun Gold Coast. Timber Vee-Joint (VJ) gaps filled with Seal and Flex. Painted with Dulux Wash and Wear. Vee-Joint has also enjoyed a renaissance, becoming a popular choice in many modern and architecturally designed buildings and homes.

Seal and Flex vs Oridnary Gap Filler
Bostik Seal and Flex is a polyurethane gap sealer.
It has 50% flex which means a 10mm gap will flex 5mm without cracking compared to a regular gap filler which will flex 10%.
Pine VJ Timber gaps open and close a lot. Hence a good quality gap filler will give far better longevity.
The extra expense is worth the lasting results.
